Terms of Service
By using SyncWhen you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
1. Service
SyncWhen ("the service") is a free scheduling poll tool operated by Alex Kay ("the operator") at syncwhen.com. The service lets you create polls to find a meeting time, share them via link, and let others vote.
2. No warranty
The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, availability, or non-infringement. The operator does not guarantee uninterrupted operation, error-free behavior, or the preservation of any data.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to: (a) use the service for unlawful, fraudulent, harassing or harmful purposes; (b) attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the service or its underlying infrastructure; (c) use the service to send unsolicited communications (spam) or to harvest contact data; (d) overload, disrupt or impair the service; (e) reverse engineer, scrape at scale, or resell the service without prior written consent.
4. Your content
You retain ownership of any content you submit (poll titles, descriptions, time slots, votes). By submitting it, you grant the operator a worldwide, royalty-free license to host and display that content for the purpose of operating the service. You are responsible for ensuring that the content you submit does not violate any law or third-party right.
5. Account and termination
You may delete your account or any sync at any time. The operator may suspend or terminate access for any user who violates these terms, with or without notice. The operator may discontinue the service at any time, with reasonable notice where practical.
6. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the operator shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the service. The operator's total liability for any claim arising from the service shall not exceed €10 or the equivalent in local currency.
7. Changes
These terms may be updated. Material changes will be announced on the site. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. For consumers resident in the European Union, mandatory provisions of consumer law in their country of residence remain unaffected.
